Tawa Community Patrol (TCP), established in 2008, is a not-for-profit community group and an incorporated charitable trust. We are affiliated with Community Patrols of New Zealand (CPNZ) and our mission is to make Tawa a safer community. To achieve this we work with the New Zealand Police, other local groups and other community patrols. Run by volunteers from the community we act as "eyes and ears" patrolling on rostered shifts. Primarily a preventative measure we are able to report any crime to Police and can also help Wellington City Council by reporting faults. |
